Outgrown the Room

There comes a moment
quiet at first
when the walls feel tighter,
the words feel smaller,
and the version of you they remember
no longer fits the one you’ve become.

You’ve outgrown the room.
Not out of ego,
but evolution.

You stayed.
You gave.
You softened to make space.

But now?
You need space for your voice,
your growth,
your becoming.

Outgrowing isn’t betrayal.
It’s truth with legs.
It’s the nudge that says:
“You weren’t meant to shrink to belong.”

You might leave quietly.
Or you might rise visibly.
But either way
you’re not wrong for growing.

You’re not wrong
for wanting more
than survival,
approval,
or staying still.

You didn’t change too much.
You just finally became
too whole to be half-seen.

And too healed
to stay in spaces
where love was conditional,
measured by control,
and not built on mutual respect.

So now?
You choose connection that’s clear,
presence that’s mutual,
or no presence at all.
