Overcoming Fear

Fear once whispered,
“Stay small.”
“Play safe.”
“Don’t risk the fall.”

It dressed itself as wisdom,
as caution, as care,
but it was just silence
wrapped up in somebody else’s fear.

But I cracked open the lie.
Stepped out of the shade.
Learned that courage
isn’t loud — it's made.

In quiet moments
where doubt still knocks,
I choose to walk —
even with shaky blocks.

Because fear only fades
when faced head-on.
And power returns
when you choose to go on.

So I move.
Not because I’m fearless —
but because I’m ready.

And that is enough!
